FORMER STUDENTS DANCE CAREER UPDATE

VICKI NORMAN

Vicki trained through to senior level Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theatre and Contemporary work while at CDPC, including competition troupes and solos.

She was a highly successful competition dancer winning all the major Senior Jazz Awards in Auckland including the Healing, Sirrom and Gordons Awards.  She was nominated for the PACANZ Young Performer of the Year Award twice and a finalist at the Award itself.

She was also a member of dance company NBC Danceforce for a number of years.  After gaining her Solo Seal qualification with CDPC, Vicki completed a Batchelor of Education specialising in dance and taught full-time at secondary school level as well as teaching part-time at CDPC and other dance studios.  Vicki now has her own dance school in Northland.

NATALIE HONA

Natalie trained through to senior level Jazz, Lyrical and Contemporary work while at CDPC, including competition troupes and solos.

She was a successful competition dancer winning many awards throughout Auckland.  Natalie continued her dance training completing a Diploma in Dance at the New Zealand School of Dance in Wellington.  Natalie has performed with a number of professional dance companies including Black Grace.

LOIS BICKNELL

Lois trained through to senior level Jazz while at CDPC, including competition troupes and solos.  She then continued her dance training attending the Victorian College of Performing Arts in Melbourne, graduating with a tertiary dance qualification.

EMMA JOHNSTON

Emma trained through to senior level Jazz while at CDPC, including competition troupes and duo work. She was a member of dance company NBC Danceforce and the Carter-Chan Celtic Dance Company.  Emma continued her dance training completing a Diploma in Dance at the New Zealand School of Dance in Wellington.  Emma has recently joined Java Dance Company.

ERRYN ANDREWS

Erryn trained through to senior level Jazz and Lyrical work while at CDPC, including competition solos.  She was a member of dance company NBC Danceforce and Burgundys Cabaret.  Erryn has established her own dance school in South Auckland.

KIM JOHNSTON

Kim trained through to senior level jazz while at CDPC, including competition troupes and duo work. She was a member of dance company NBC Danceforce and the Carter-Chan Celtic Dance Company.  Kim has recently started her own dance school.

MICHELLE ELMSLEY

Michelle trained through to senior level jazz while at CDPC, including competition solo work. She was a member of dance company NBC Danceforce and the Auckland Rugby Cheer Team.

TRACEY JOYCE
Tracey trained through to senior level jazz and tap while at CDPC, including competition troupes, trio, duo and solo work. She was also a member of dance company NBC Danceforce and the Carter-Chan Celtic Dance Company.  Tracey then joined the Sky City Cheer Team.

ROBYN JOYCE

Robyn trained through to senior level jazz and tap while at CDPC, including competition troupes, trio, duo and solo work. She was also a member of dance company NBC Danceforce and the Carter-Chan Celtic Dance Company.  Robyn continued her dance training attending a tertiary course in dance & performance at Unitec.

ROCHELLE SIMPSON
Rochelle trained through to senior level jazz while at CDPC, including competition troupe and trio work.  She also performed with dance company NBC Danceforce.  Rochelle continued her dance training completing a Diploma in Dance & Performance at AUT.

LUCY CAMPBELL

Lucy trained through to senior level ballet and jazz while at CDPC, including competition troupe work.  She also performed with dance company NBC Danceforce and was a member of the Sky City Cheer Team.  Lucy continued her dance training attending a tertiary course in dance & performance at AUT.

RICKY JACK

Ricky trained through to senior level tap and hip hop at CDPC, including competition troupe, trio, duo and solo work.  He also performed with the Carter-Chan Celtic Dance Company.  Ricky continued his dance training completing a course in dance & performance at the Excel School of Performing Arts.

STEPHANIE WOOD
Stephanie trained at senior level Ballet and Jazz at CDPC, including competition troupe work.  She also danced with Carter-Chan Entertainment Productions doing promotional corporate work.  She has recently begun a Batchelor of Performing Arts at Christchurch Polytechnic.
